Shifter Bushings

Hey,

Interested in information about improving the shifting in my 2008 GSR. I found some shifter bushings on a few sites? are these worth it, noticable? is there a short shifter?

from what i've read, the cable bushings, the base bushings, and 2 other bushings, *coupled* with the redline cocktail mix or amsoil transmission fluid will provide a substantial difference.

for even more of an upgrade, change out the cage (short shifter), and put on a heavy-weight shift knob.

No lift need for any of the bushings. They go in super easy. The under hood bushings are visible as soon as you open the hood on the lower back right side of the engine bay. Go with the works under hood bushings the AMS metal bushings don't allow for absorption of shock and vibration and are harsher on the transmission.

So after reading your review I like the concepts that you value, just to be clear before ordering any parts you are recommending

Works
Short Throw Shifter
Console Bushings
Hybrid Shifter Cable Bushings

and changing the fluid to a Redline cocktail that seems to be universally popular

Get either the AMS or Torque Solution gate selector bushing too.

TWM has a nice kit, but I can't give feedback because I've never used it.

If you want something to be cool in summer and decent in winter, get the Cobb or similiar in delrin. they not heavy but feel nice.

I want the added weight, I honestly don't mind my stock leather knob too much as far as looks or feel, but definitely want to increase weight when I'm replacing all of this stuff
