FPR and Fuel Rail

FPR and Fuel Rail
I'm running the stock turbo with the dw300 fuel pump and fic 1100 injectors
The question is:
Do I need a fuel pressure regulator with a fuel rail? What are the cons of installing or not installing a fpr?

Most people do not need a afpr or rail with just a pump & injectors. I am sure that is the most common answer that you will get. I say mod with future modifications in mind. Why not build to support future mods. I say go with it. I am planning a double pumper, so I elected to get in on a group buy for afpr. Couldn't hurt right?

you most likely didnt need the upgraded pump and injectors on the stock turbo unless your running higher boost or e85
to help a vendor, get the ams fpr kit and rail, the quality and install instructions make for an easy diy job.

No. If you have fuel trim issues try tweaking the voltage crossover point; other than that you have a dandy setup for stock turbo on e85!
If you find yourself at/near the limit of the fuel system, then look further, but I have kept my fuel system pretty simple and am making pretty damn good power, I made 480whp dyno dynamics/550whp dynojet on a dw300 pump, BAP, and 1680cc injectors, stock fuel rail/fpr. Now making 630whp dynojet and I have upgraded to a w400 pump and I am just now looking at fuel rail and *maybe* fpr if I need it, but hopefully not.
Just keep it simple
