Talking My New 2012 Evo GSR WW Pictures

Hello Everyone !

Got my car 2 weeks ago and finally got time to show some pictures. I thought the 2012 has a shift light ? Definitely didnt see this feature.

Quick Review of the Evo X: (My review will be comparing a previously owned Tuned E92 335i)

For those thinking about buying the car, the biggest difference to consider between the Evo and BMW is the gears on the manual transmission. Evo is very short , and BMW is very long. Personally I prefer BMW's transmission because if i remember correctly (rough estimate)

BMW First gear was 45mph !!
BMW Second gear has 70mph !! Evo only 55mph on second gear

So you will be shifting alot more and the mitsu is always in high RPMs

Other than that the car's handling is amazing, the steering wheel feel is lighter compare to the 335i or the 1M but once you go into the corner the steering wheel has excellent response and points where you want to go.

The main reason i got this car is for some autoX and tracking events, should be a fun car!

you cant tell from the picture but it has full front clearbra + 35% tints all around.

Already order the ETS Intake , ETS UICP, Grimmspeed 3port, as soon as I put them on I'm going to Ivey tune

Do we know for sure if the 2012 is the last year of the Evo X or will it be 2013?

Also if the 2013 is the last year they might do it like the Eclipse. The 2012 Eclipse's (if you could find one) were actually leftover 2011 productions.

You probably see a surge in 2012 purchases because we are aware the Evo (as we know it) is coming to an end

That is a beauty, if your looking for a nice bolt on HKS DBB turbo with only 450 miles on it I bought from Ivey NEW, in perfect shape, will give you faster spool than that stock turbo and an easy 30-whp more on pump.I left it in the hands of CBRD you can call Chad about it.I paid 2300.00 for it you can have it for 500.00 bucks! I upgraded to a AMS 2.2L big bore complete engine and a bigger turbo from Chad.

There will definitely be a 2013 Evo. Exactly the same as the 2012 lineup with Obsidian Blue replaced with Cosmic Blue.

I think it will be like the Eclipse then. The only reason they will put out 2013's is to get rid of the extra 2012's that Mitsu did not sell to the dealerships.
