I assumed most everyone on an Evo forum would have known the difference between the old basic II 4WD and the super techy X system.The main reason I posted that was for the guy with warped rotors and blown struts.The trailer by its self didn't cause that......it may have helped it along quicker,but it wasn't the cause of it.

On public roads,especially with a trailer in tow,I wouldn't go anywhere near the over/understeer "nanny controls" of the X.But,as others have since posted.....pull the fuse/relay.

Sure Mitsubishi wants to cover its a$$ and not get sued (especially in the US),but its a car.
