Finally have found my MR!
Hey guys
Kevin here again. After searching since February for an evo x after I regrettly sold my rr mr, i Have made a deal to get a NEW 11 mr in Dallas tx. $490 a month but will feel like $390 a month since I finished a debt I had that required a $100 a month so gonna dedicate that $ I'm used to paying for the car.
It's a ww mr, base with cloth Gsr seats and base sound, but it's perfect for me. I like the cloth seats and gonna upgrade sound on my own, and don't want the heated leather seats and chrome trim and moonroof etc.
Put a $500 deposit down to hold the car and seal the deal. Originally the deal was only good yesterday but I got them to seal it for Tuesday. 4 hour drive each way but leaving b4 daylight Tuesday to drive up there. Car price I got it to $34500, msrp like $38+?

$34,500 is a decent price considering the car is brand new. Did that price include any incentives from Mitsubishi? I'm sure the dealer really wanted a 2011 off their lot.
While leather looks great, I agree with you and think the cloth seats are fine.
I think the multi-color MID as opposed to the all red is a nice improvement from your previous 08, also, bolder side skirts. Enjoy!

Not for 2011/2012, base mr's are like the se's of 2010, cloth recaros, black trim, etc
Here's the one I'm picking up:

So are these seats different than the suede/leather recaros from the 08?
If I were going to trade my 08 for a 12 I'd go your route also... Don't want sunroof or heated seats, but would want sst, premium sound and nav. I really love the leather/suede recaros in the 08 though... And of course also love giant wing

Make sure you have full pricing agreed to before you make that trip up to Dallas. I would have them put the OTD price in writing so you know exactly what you are going to pay. Also if you are trading-in have them put the trade-in amount in writing as well. Dealerships are notorious for adding on additional amounts to the out of area customers. The last thing you will want to do is drive up there for nothing. They know this and can often get customers to agree for additional amounts they normally would not if they lived in area. Your first warning is when a dealership talks monthly payments as opposed to the total cost to you.
