Trust me there is a fine line between getting noticed for good reasons and bad reasons. A loud exhaust is great, but stupid loud is stupid lol.

Personally I am going for an AMS single with ams down pipe and high flow cat. It will be loud enough, just not crazy loud in my opinion.

On that note, that ams exhaust launch video is sweeeeeet!

 

External dump dp and it will be loud regardless. Run a test pipe too.

 

I would suggest a Tomei Catback, ETS test pipe, ETS O2/DP external dump. Would be loud but sound good still.

 

from what ppl tell me the invidia single exit with downpipe and/or testpipe will wake the neighbors lol

 

ETS 3.5" is loud.......people always hear me coming.

Your going to make new friends and aquantences and get a lot of attention you wont welcome. Stick a few hundred in the bank account and get yourself an " I support local police" sticker for the rear bumper.

 

I have out grown the loud exhaust phase. I still enjoy a nice loud exhaust, just not on my car haha. If you are going for a loud exhaust at least get one that sounds good too. I agree with downpipe back with ETS. This should be plenty loud. Watch some youtube clips those help.

 

only loud exhaust i like to hear is muscle cars! im running a perrin tbe on my evo and its loud enough without sounding like a ricer

this^ my buddy has this setup with an AMS widemouth dp and I hear it coming from ages away. Sounds excellent too not raspy and ricey like all the older gen civics and integras i see driving around

 

I have ETS test pipe and exhaust no downpipe, my wife hears me from about a 1/4 mile down the road inside the house.

 

ETS V2 extreme, test pipe with their open dump DP all the way.

 

yea i had the invidia n1 on my last evo x with dp/tp and that thing was loudd.. actually i think i had the one piece combo with a hfc and it was still ridiculously loud. pair that with an open dump dp instead and youll probably have hearing problems lol gl

 

AMS widemouth dp into custom 3" test pipe into collector splitting into 2 2.25" pipes with resonators and tips from Vibrant. Sounds wicked. Im waiting to get a video.
