I never found what it was. The noise is still there after cold start ups and then it goes away when the car is warm. My car was stock when it started doing, I have full bolt ons and tune now and the car runs good and no issues so far.

Does the same noise in neutral up to ~2500 rpm, then I'm assuming the exhaust/engine noise take over and you can't here the high pitched "woooo" sound. As long as it's nothing serious, I don't mind the noise.

My car doesnt do the noise when in neutral, itr only does it when it load. Make sure you have no leaks ( intercooler piping, intake or exhaust )

My turbo makes like a small supercharger whine when cold starts but once it warms up it's gone. It seems pretty normal no worries it not a leak if it goes away when the car warms I just got tuned and they did a boost leak test before and the first pull after sitting for3 hours made the sound then after that it went away. The tuner did not say any thing about it so no worries.

Yeah, I was gonna take a trip over to a local tuner to run a boost leak test once it warms up a bit more.
