My new 2008 Evo X MR - Graphite Grey (GG)

I just purchased a 2008 MR in Graphite Grey. I am very please with it. It had 39,361 miles on it when I purchased it on Friday, May 18, 2012. I love it. It is a blast to drive!

It is completely stock with one previous owner who was a 43 year old male with a young child. He pretty much babied that car, which is another large reason why I purchased this specific evo over the others that I test drove and looked at.

I would like to get a high quality car alarm on it asap because I live in center city Philadelphia where the crime is high. If you have any suggestions as to which alarms are good, feel free to let me know.

Any suggestions with mods or upkeep are welcome.

Thanks!

Congrats I just picked up a GSR 2 days ago. For an alarm I would suggest Clifford.

After seeing the '10 WW Evo X fs on here, I like the wing delete on the X's. Anyone agree?

You can check out their alarms and remote starters here:

I have a Clifford IntelliGuard 950, have not installed it yet, so I guess I wouldn't have any more insight than you, but from whats in the box everything looks high quality and not a cheapo kit.

Congrats! Take your time learning how to use the SST before pushing her hard.

Yea, I have only actually used it in drive. I haven't been able to go to fast with it to use the SST. I'm trying to get used to it for now. The front end seems long...definitely different for me to drive than my girlfriends Kia Soul...lol.

I want to do a general upkeep check on the car because I don't feel that the dealer did a full premium quality check on everything. Once the tank gets to E I'm putting 93 Ultra Sunoco gas in it; I hear that's the best for it.
