Year suggestions for EVO X
I've been talked out of buying a ralliart and instead just buying a used EVO X, was wondering if any of you have any suggestions as to which year(s) to buy?
Haven't yet heard of one year of an EVO X being better than another, but I have heard of them having minor cosmetic differences and such and figured I'd ask since my on my BMW and Toyota it actually made quite a difference.
Thought I'd ask here before I made a purchase. Thanks in advance!

i would go 2010 or newer, nicer center display, nicer taillights, better stock tune,
in 2011 you can get the tall wing without having to get the SSS package which is nice,
but the SSS package is worth the extra cash just for the headlights alone.

If your buying the car to enjoy driving it, buy the one that provides the best value. Factor in warranty repairs etc. if your going to tune or tune and build it does not matter much. If you are into the aesthetics get a new one. I have an 08 MR and a 10 GSR. The MR has everything available in 2008. It's a last to drive. The GSR is base all the way. No HID's no nav it's just a raw driving machine. It also is a blast to drive. Can't really go wrong with an Evo it's just all about preference and for me value. I have never brought myself to buy a new car, just too cash loss after you drive it off the lot. However if you buy a used Evo the value retention is unmatched. I cannot think of another car that holds its value better.

if you're going to finance, seriously look into new and run numbers
Mitsu's financing plans are really pretty damn good
so you might save money AND not have to worry about previous ownership
