Evo x history
Hello I am debating on whether to get the evo x or evo 9 as a 350whp daily driver. Which one would you recommend? Is it possible to do it with only bolt ons?
Does anyone know the history of this car?

Looks nice, already what we would call Cobb Stage 2. If you put a Cobb Accessport tune on it (you can see it already has all the cobb stuff on it, you can just download a tune) , you would be a bout 300 whp on pump gas already. If you did injectors for a few hundered and E85, you'd be right at 350whp and 20 mpg. The X handles better and is more comfortable than the 9. Some people prefer the 9's style. I bought an X and put an 8 wing on, called it good

Dunno anything specific about it, but I can tell from the selection of parts that the owner didn't mind spending money to do things right.

Then for the intake i was looking at a ets set up but there is a tube that comes out for the bov, how would i fit it with the cobb hard pipes installed arleady?
Lastly is that 20 mpg on e85 and which brand and size injector do you recommend? Does the fuel pump needed to be upgraded to run e e85?

For a daily driver i'd hands down choose the X if money isnt a issue. I however think the 9 is the best evo made. The X is softer by default and a much more livable car however.

I am curious what "softer" means? The ride? I thought I read that the x is like 65% more rigid then the past evos? Or is it the springs on the 9 that make it stiffer? I know my 2012 with the the new springs and rear sway I put on is pretty solid. I have never been in an older Evo so I wouldn't know how stiff they are.
Just curious.
