ACD Pump Reflash - Preventative Maintenance
Hi everyone,
I've been reading some threads about ACD pump failures due to cold temperatures. Here in toronto, the summers are humid and hot, yet the winters are bitter cold, dropping down to a minimum of -25C every year. I've read that due to cold termberatures and the stock pump timing, that ACD pumps are failing premature and can cost up to $2000 to replace. Has anyone here had any issues with their ACD pump in cold temperatures? Should I get mine reflashed?

I must have jinxed myself because service required just popped up and I now no longer have access to the ACD controls... What are my options? Any help is appreciated

the problem is not in cold weather but in pump corrosion due to road salt and water...
your choices are a new pump, hopefully under a warranty, or a pump overhaul....
acd-tuning.com does it in the states..

I agree that the pump is in a bad place WRT salty water, but the reflash has nothing to do with that.
To the OP: have you checked the fluid level in the trunk?
