Diff Oil Reservoir?
So, I was looking in my trunk and saw a door in the right rear quarter panel area, and it contained a reservoir marking of diff oil. Does this mean that you are able to fill the diff oil from this reservoir? I'm really confused, never heard about this. And it's low so I'm thinking that I need to fill it up.
Any help would be great, negative comments not needed, Thanks =)

That reservoir does not use gear oil so you know, it uses mitsu ATF fluid. And I would advise you to not fill it up just because it is low. Sometimes after driving under hard conditions the fluid appears low but after driving normally or when the vehicle is turned off and sits, the fluid will re-level out. If you top it off just be aware that it may overfill and create a mess that is very difficult to clean up.

It's about 2-3 inches away from the min fill line. Yes I saw it took ATF oil. Thanks for the info guys. I really didn't know what it was for so now I know to keep checking it,
Thanks again guys.

This. The manual tells you how and when to check all the fluids in the car. I always have to open mine up when I think something is low so that I check it at the right time with the engine on or off and hot or cold.
