Heat Tape?
Hey guys, I talked with one of the guys from Fortune Auto today and wanted to get some of there gold heat tape for my UICP and he said they are no longer selling it and will be taking it off there site. My question is does anyone know of any other site that sells this stuff or anything like it? Thanks have a good one!

I've seen it with exhaust wraps (https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pr...asp?RecID=7682). I can't comment on intake pieces. I would think they would be ok. But haven't had
any experiences with it.

Help me understand this mod...
Gold foil tape will (AFAIK):
1. reflect engine bay heat away from the UICP (a 'good thing' - but is engine bay temp higher than the UICP tube temperature?)
2. keep UICP heat 'in' by reflecting radiated heat and preventing its escape...
So if UICP temp is higher than engine bay temp - then you would not want it...
What am i missing here? [shrug]
