So the Aftermarket option is a OEM evo 8/9 CMC?

and the OEM is another plastic Evo X cmc?

Currently I'm in the market for a CMC and now strongly considering the MAP option. Would also like to know the difference from the two options the offer.

I actually just got helped out by Nate at MAP.

The OEM option is for a OEM evo 8/9 master cylinder.
The aftermarket one is a evo x replica one that's just a bit stronger.

This was my understanding of what he told me.

Thank you. I might just get the after market one. Either way I don't think I can go wrong with either or!!

Please allow me to clarify...these conversion kits essentially convert an EVO X to accept NOT an EVO X master, BUT an older style master found on the EVO 8/9.

We give you the option of either buying an aftermarket OEM STYLE EVO 8/9 Master OR the option of buying the actual OEM EVO 8/9 master cylinder with this kit.

There is NOT use of the EVO X master cylinder or EVO X master cylinder components once this kit is installed.

Please let me know if that wasn't clear enough...OR if there is any confusion. I would rather everyone KNOW what they are buying publicly.

How does the diameter of the Evo 8/9 CMC compare with that on the Evo X? (Please say that it is slightly larger.)

The install WILL suck real hard, BUT once done...it is probably the best single driveline mod you can get yourself into!

I just had the AMS CMC with Exedy twin HD installed on my car.

My philosophy has always been do it once and do it right. The CMC is not something you want to fail again. Go with AMS.
