no but a tune does...... Read what i wrote guy....... please don't pop off your mouth while shuffling your feet. I said that with the mods he has I would almost guarantee its been tuned.. Now go ahead and tell me a tune doesn't affect the warranty genius..
oh and just in case you try and come back and get the last words in. I'm not saying it will void all of your cars warranty but it will almost certainly void any engine or transmission warranty exceeding the amount of 500 dollars.

Okey-dokey. A tune doesn't affect the warranty.*
What do I win?
ps. since when are there separate warranties for things above and below $500?
- - -
Footnotes:
* A tune does make it easier for the warrantor to deny warranty work on anything related to the tune (and have this stand up), but it does not actually affect the warranty.

To the OP, I agree with a previous post that it looks like the cat was added so that the car could legally be sold as it is my understanding most dealerships don't like dealing with non-street legal cars. As a few were eluding to, any warranty on the exhaust is gonna be void as well as anything that Mitsu can prove was damaged as a result of the exhaust. The bigger problem is that Mitsu seems to be trigger happy with voiding warranties for just about anything regardless of the magnuson moss warranty act.
If its tuned, same kinda thing. You blow a motor, they are gonna deny b/c of tune most likely.
