another rattle thread (not what you think)

another rattle thread (not what you think)

So, I searched this but didn't find many satisfying answers. Anybody ever have a metallic rattle (like something is loose) from the front when going over bumps? It's hard to get a video because it isn't consistent, but from what I can gather, it happens only when one side is going over a bump/dip (the noise occurs on both sides, however). Happens at both low <20 mph and high >70 mph speeds, so it's pretty speed independent.

Checked the endlinks and control arms. Looks good from what I can tell. Isn't the TPMS sensor rattling around too.

If its the TPMS sensor something would be seriously wrong. Lol.

Its kinda hard to diagnose with that info.. Could be the nut on the top of the strut needs to be tightened.. Maybe something with the top hats?

Believe it or not, I've had that happen.

Nuts are tight on the top hats, just rechecked tonight.

Another update: seems to happen on a quickish rebound

I only have one nut lose.She won't stop talking. Might have to mod her to fix the problem.

check heat shields i would guess, it could be hitting downpipe or something.
