Big chunk of fender ice fell off a semi truck in front of me on the freeway a couple weeks after getting my 2013. Did my 1st oil change a few weeks ago and saw a big chunk of plastic undertray missing back by the tranny. No damage except the tray, so I guess it did its job. Ordered the SSP from MAP and got a nice little discount for being a forum member . Will get it from Fedex today and gonna install over the long weekend, I'll post my thoughts afterword.
Seems like its gotta be a huge improvement over the brittle plastic tray, I busted out basically the same chunk on my 08 last summer running over a suicidal jackrabbit at 100 mph... Don't really want to impact test the new tray, but $h!t happens sometimes.

Rocking this product, I installed mine a few weeks go to replace my plastic under tray (stock plastic one collected ice and collapsed on itself).

The SSP skid plate doesn't really come with great instructions but, once you get under your car and look at things, then sort out what all the hardware is for, it will all make sense.

Great fitment. I had absolutely no issues with holes not lining up.

The only con was figuring out just how much plastic needed to be trimmed on the inner fender liners (it's basically just the 1/4" edge on both sides, once you see it you'll know).

I grabbed mine from Sean @ DSGPeformance

At the right angle, you can see all the hardware holding it to the bottom of the car. Looks pretty badass

I agree with you on that one, I don't have the big undertray on mine anymore, it broke years ago.

Shouldn't there be a quick access window to the oil filter?

There are square openings/lids on the tray to allow you to access the oil filter and drain plug.

The SSP undertray is NOT a skid-plate. Yes, it's more durable that the OE plastic, but please don't call it a skid-plate.

My apologies... ? I interchange the terms occasionally.. notice I used both terms in my post.. I promise I'll do better and be sure not to do that in the future.

It's cool. I just don't want someone to go nuts on a gravel road with something that could cost them the bottom half of their engine and/or transfer case. Rule of thumb: if you can't put a jack under it and lift the car, it's not a skid-plate.

Ah, alright. I'm fairly sure the v1 SSP under tray didn't have a jack point but the v2 has a front jack point location, but that doesn't sound like the same idea lol.

The product is pretty awesome anyway, OP should buy it
