Evo X GSR 349whp/343wtq vs. Stock '12 911 C2S
Opinions please!? I have not gone to the track yet so I have no idea what ET ill run but I have the car setup with 349whp/343wtq, full bolt ons, stock turbo, Mike Botti tuned. Launch control set to 5500RPM.
My boss just bought a '12 Porsche 911 C2S. It's fast!!! He thinks he will beat me in a race. I agree he will beat me top end roll, his car is just geared better with similar power.
What do you think about a drag race from a dig? I can drive it pretty well!
Were gonna find out soon enough but just wondering others thoughts...

Deliberately lose it and make him happy.

I disagree... Let him know that these cars are something to be reckoned with - they're not like your typical 4-cyl Hondas you see rolling around thinking they're fast.
If he gets so upset that you beat him that it affects your relationship with him, then there is a problem with he bigger picture.

We went from 20mph roll, not sure if he really knows how to drive (gear selection) and what not. But it goes like so.
Race #1 - 20MPH roll, second gear for me, not sure for him. Instant boost, pulled hard shifted at 7500 banged third and fourth gear, was going about 110 and shut it down. I put a nose on him in 2nd, a couple doors in 3rd and he couldn't reel me in.
Evo 1 - 991 911S 0
Race #2 - Similar speed, maybe 30mph this time, everything the same for me, not sure what he did. I jumped a car length at te end of second, a car and a door through third and held him off until the top of 4th where I shut down.
Evo 2 - 991 911S 0
Now I'm not gonna pretend like if we went from a 60mph top end roll he wouldn't start walking by me cause I'm sure he would. But from low speed or a dig, I'm confident that the driving skills and near equal power will equate to me driving past him and holding him off.
