AMS downpipe is supposed to be one of (if not THE) best. I haev ETS products too, can't complain about them
I have a pro dyno tune on my Cobb AP, don't get confused thinking that an open source tune is better. A Cobb AP is just a smaller form factor for you to carry your tune around on, instead of having a laptop and tactrix cable. A good tuner will be able to tune either way.

I've had both company's products on my car and I like them both.
But I'm an ETS guy for life lol. They bent over backwards for me when I had an issue with my car.
Since your location says Olympia, WA take a trip down to Vancouver, WA and check out their warehouse.
Michael will give you the grand tour and you'll be an ETS guy for life as well.. I guarantee it

CAI's for the MR are very hard to find (and afford) due to one of the prime spots to run to for Cold Air is taken up by the transmission cooler on our cars. Turning that spot into a super Hot Air Intake location
Any EVO X MR CAIs I found were much higher in price than the short ram options you chose as well.
