Inline fuel filters

Hey guys so I was doing some reading on inline fuel filters. I understand that your not supposed to use cellulose (paper) filters when using E-85. Im only running 93 octane and was looking into buying a inline fuel filter. Someone posted that you should only get a 50-100 micron fuel filter. I understand our cars already have a sock on the fuel pump, but is it anymore beneficial to put a inline fuel filter. If so, do you think that it will cause any restriction on the fuel line. Do you think it is worth it? Sorry for the newb questions. Is anyone running these, and if so have you seen any ill effects. Also where did you all install them?

-Thanks,

just buy an OEM filter for any GM Suburban that runs E85/FlexFuel from the factory. Splice it inline before your fuel rail. If it flows enough for a 6 Liter V8, it flows enough for a 2 liter inline 4. I ran one for years.

Looks pretty sweet. Do you think I'd see a pressure drop or restricted flow on this setup?

So i did a little more digging today, and talked to the guys who make this product. He said that the stock fuel pump on our cars have a fuel sock as well as a inline fuel filter which all sit in the gas tank. He said this product is for people who switch their stock pumps out and thus taking out the inline fuel filter. Therefore when you have the bigger pump you want to put an inline fuel filter and thats what its for. Anyways just some info for the newbs like me, haha. I guess its a slow learning process. He also said that they did not test this product for E-85. Just an fyi.

that kit is fitting of ur. my ur down pipe cracked and well then this filter.
twice I blew the plastic clips off and used pull ties to secure it to the fuel rail till I got a chance to replace the fittings. the filter with them is a cheapo filter and the bracket is in a annoying spot if you have a lot going on in your engine bay. I would say just by a gm or ford flex fuel filter and do it your self or buy a kit like the fuelab filter.
