Serious Problem on Built X !!!
What's up fellas ok let me start with car
2011 X GSR
Built 2.0
Stock head
EF4
Tubular ETS Mani
Full bolt ons (Intercooler, open dump DP, hot and cold pipes etc)
ID1000CC / Walb 400
Synapse DV valve kit
ETS test pipe w/ ultimate racing Exh
Grimspeed 3 port
Stage 3 race Comp clutch kit w/ Flywheel
Short Shifter kit with all bushings
Roughly 1k miles on new setup.
28 PSI 450whp/350wtq on shell V power 93 pump ONLY
On nearly every pull car at high RPM range no matter what gear (it varies) hits an EXTREMELY violent wall. Car builds boost and runs and BOOOM hits a wall hesitates and keeps going. Extreme backfire with flames (i have multiple videos) occur. AFR sits at 11.X during WOT (depending on temp I have seen 11.3 or even 11.9 or 12.0) Boost gauge when severe hesitation occur sometimes read or 30+ (dial seems to be going past 30). ASC light comes on everytime it occurs.
Ok experienced guys will say ok this is clearly fuel cut/ boost cut due to overboost. Now let me ask you this if the MBC is set to 28...and maybe even if car spiked a little it doesnt explain the severe cut out....car never experienced this on dyno and it happened in 84 degree weather and 46. Car is due to go back in but we are scratching our heads here gentleman....WTF? Fuel pump relay?

Definitely looks like boost cut to me. What tune are you running? Have you checked all hoses running to and from the EBC? Also, there is a how-to check for boost leaks on this forum somewhere as well. If you weren't having problems for the last 1k miles its probably not a tune issue but rather a mechanical issue.

Raising limits doesn't address the main problem of why a car tuned for 28psi is hitting 30+ psi? The cut if anything is saving my motor.

True. I suppose I just assumed you wanted to run that boost because built motor. Again, find a tuner to get you back to your target boost. WGDC table tuning is so easy a caveman could do it..

I say boost cut as well. The car is overboosting so the ecu cuts. Once the boost drops down a few psi the ecu allows you to resume boosting. You didn't post any boost logs but I'm betting the stock frame turbo starts running out of steam up top, which is why you don't hit the boost cut once you accelerate past it.
