Quick release

Was looking into purchasing a quick release steering wheel, the hub and all those goodies. Just wanted to find out the pros and cons of doing this, I know the cons are losing the air bag, and also the controls on the steering wheel unless I reroute them which I do not think I would do. Any others?

I assume this for a track-monster with full cage...

My $.02:
To do it on a street car (and give up the airbag) is simply not a good idea. IF you wreck/hurt yourself - the lack of an OEM airbag will be noted (and they probably won't pay for your medical)...
