Guys I sent my oil to Blackstone recently and the results are given below if anyone is interested in seeing them. Weird thing is that it came back with high potassium and saying it may be coolant? Hopefully my next one doesnt read a high value, what do you guys think? Everything else looks really good to me. Vsicosity is low for a 40 grade but its fine since the 5w-30 vis. is much lower.
-Also attached is my Jetta oil analysis. Same oil but Potassium was zero.

 

hm, the potassium is strange.

i would test again in ~10k miles just to keep an eye on it.

Can I ask why you run 0w-40? Is there any advantages?

 

Wider range of protection than the standard 5w30 in every direction. In regards to Mobil1, it also has one of their highest additive packages, beat only by their diesel formula (5w40). The only downsides are it reduces mpg by like 1 and isn't serviceable according to the manual, meaning if they find out, they could use that as grounds for engine warranty work denial. I plan to use it as soon as warranty is up.
