What maintenance steps should I be taking at this time?
I have a 2008 Evo X with 23,000 miles on it. Weekend driver, not being driven hard. Well maintained and properly taken care of so far....What type of maintenance steps should I be taken at this time? Drivetrain, trans, fluids, etc......Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Pretty sure the manual says 30k trans and rear diff but I would do them. If you have not changed the air filter you should do so now. This and oil changes will make the engine last forever.
As always using some "performance" filter will cause engine damage by letting crap through and into the engine. I have heard stories of lost compression , dirt in the throttle body and oil consumption after 15k of using a improperly oiled filter and designed to let in more air. They aren't worth the risk.

So trans and rear diff fluids then?

Yeah 30k you look at doing trans, t-case, rear diff. Just FYI if you do your own drain and fills, on the t-case would not overfill it since that could cause further issues and the infamous "death whine"
