Evo sputters and drives like crap after new cams

My Evo was sputtering before and my tuner who lives a world away told me it was my mivec settings. I installed new S2 camshaft and it just sputters around 2500 to 3500 rpm. It will have horrible lean spots.

I put the cold mivec setting for exhaust and intake....and it went away.....however its slow as ***** now.

Do you have any tips on what settings I can use?

yeah why would you not get a tune..especially after cams, especially when you have mivec..if youre "tuner" didn't recommend getting a tune right away, then get yourself a new tooooner

and people posting a year later, this 4B11T is garbage because cant handle the power... lol
God, why people working things they dont even have a clue what they doing?

Go and get tuned ASAP. In fact dont even drive the car. And get a good tuner, since you might even have something as i believe its called a premature failure in english.

Man some people should just not tinker with things and just pay someone who knows what they are doing.

Car was working fine. Threw in cams and thats where I got the lean spots and sputtering. Used my cold mivec setting and car works fine however its slow.

Car doesnt knock, ait look fine, peak torque is around 4* and peak timing 13* kept my AFR in the 10:9 range up top.

I was able to diagnose the issue the tuner sent me a mivec map but still was working poorly. It only worked well while cold so I went with the cold mivec setting.

Will try Gonzus mivec map and go from there. Thanks for your resources.
