Hey guys, I was at a car meet last week and kids asked me to 2step my 2008 GSR, which I accepted lol, but when I did it the RPMs stayed high when I let off the gas and took a good 20 seconds to come back down again. I am new to Evo's and was wondering if anyone else had experienced this, or know why my car did it? And no I do not do this all the time, once in a blue moon when someone asks me to 2 step my car, I will do it... I do not beat on my car at all, I love it too much! Any ideas of what caused my car to do this would be a huge help! Thanks!

 

All evo x's have this problem, the rpms hang and take a good while to return to idle. Although ive mostly only heard them last 6-10 seconds at most. 20 seconds sounds a bit extreme
