Oil Pressure Gauge started reading 0 today.

Honestly not sure what's up. I installed the gauges a month ago, did my oil change at that time as well for obvious reasons. Running Amsoil 0w-30 w/ new OEM Filter.

Today on the way to the gym I noticed that my gauge (Tanabe Revel VLS which has an inner LED display with numbers, and an outer ring with LEDs) The inner LED was blank, but the outer ring was giving me normal readings, and personally I thought whatever I can still see that it's fine. On the way back home everything was back to normal. Later that day I had to move my car, and when I started her up, the screen went through the startup process, I saw all the LEDs go on, the numbers flew by, but then it showed 0. Starting it a couple more times one random time it looked like it was back to normal. Went up then dropped quickly back down to 0 and sat there. Gave it a little gas, it went up to 4 PSI, then dropped again. THen stayed stuck at 0.

I don't have a CEL, no warnings. Oil's still practically full according to the dipstick, really clean still too. I double checked all the lines, no loose connections. Is it safe to assume if there's no oil pressure light that it's just the gauge or more likely the sender unit? Just nervous to drive it and I have school tomorrow -.-

Bone Stock asides from an Drop in Filter.

I suggest your oil pressure sensor failed, or the gauge itself. Call Tamabe.

Thanks for the response, yeah I got in the car today hoping for the best when it was time to go to school, and it was working fine.. for now. I sent them an email yesterday, just in case though.
