While building the Supra I decided I didnt need both an evo and a supra. Parted out the evo bought a daily 2015 hyundai elentra and a few days ago I traded the elentra and got a 2015 OB Evo

I have a question regarding the Enkei RPF1 on your first Evo.....what size and fitment do you recommend? I don't want to rub anywhere, i don't want to roll fenders, and don't want to rub at steering full lock. Just the widest set up with the most aggressive offset to work with stock and moded suspension. Thanks for any type of feedback!!!

beautiful Supra! i always planned to own a white one (i'd even opt for the targa top, for fun) but prices are just too nuts. i decided if i were to spend that kinda money, i'd get a GTR instead LOL.

but if the opportunity ever came up.....

So the Supra is great in a straight line that's about it. I couldn't stand driving an Elentra every day and the Supra on weekends I wanted a fun daily and I really wanted Octane blue and I did miss the Evo so I had to get another one.

Supras pulled close to 1G on the skid pad in stock form, I thought. (**edit: .95g per Car & Driver) Should be a pretty decent handling car?

This debate goes on all the time. Its usually supra owners defending supras and the non-biased people saying otherwise. Skid pad is not the only judgement of handling. But from many reviews I have seen/read it appears they are not very good without extensive work. Think fully track prepped. BUT. Everyone loves supras, this is not hate against them. I would love a clean targa.

true. maybe back in 1997 they were considered better. LOL. it's kinda like how i want an R32 GTR, but feel that i would be giving up a better-performing car to get it (assuming i sold the Evo), despite similar weights/etc.
in 1989, the GTR ruled. not so much in 2006.

Well evo's still require a decent amount of prep to handle well. What the skidpad tells me is that the supra probably has pretty decent suspension geometry. Tires back then were often skinnier and of worse compound. The thought of sticky tires that last 10k miles being slapped on a car from the factory was absurd 20 years ago. Today its all too common. So keeping apples to apples, it sounds like the supra can handle well, it just needs some coilovers and some camber i bet.
