New owner, 2014 MR from Genesis Coupe
Looking forward to doing a LOT of reading and learning here, and then starting down the mod road Not going too crazy on this, bought it new yesterday with 50 miles (significantly marked down to where it would've been stupid to buy used) so I'm not going full build any time soon!
Here's some pics of my bone stock evo and a couple of my old Gen!

Enjoy, you made a great choice. Honestly, and this is from experience, when you start getting on it, you will feel a stumble with the factory tune. Just get a Cosworth drop in air filter. (no tune needed, zero impact to your warranty. It's literally just a replacement air filter that isn't built crappily and flows better than stock) It drastically clears up the occasional stumble you will feel around 5-6000 when getting on it, and is simply a replacement for the horribad factory air filter.
Also, as an MR owner, you should do a lot of reading about the transmission.
In a nutshell (I think I remember most of this)
- Change the transmission fluid after around 1500-2000 miles. This will remove any breakin material. Change every 30k after that
- Drive in S-Sport manual as much as possible, to prolong your clutch packs. This is an easy habit to get into, and a fun way to drive the car. You can put it in S-Sport immediately, but be sure to let the car warm up before letting it rip. Recommended you get about two bars of blue on your temp gauge before spirited driving.
- Search for things you will be surprised how much is already out there. Rattle fixes, (they will happen), and other good information is out there.
Enjoy Looks great in that color you lucked out!

Tuned now pulls all the way to redline. But honestly, the simple drop in filter helped clean up 99% of the car power curve and made me re-think tuning at all.
Final tip -
- Put it in neutral when stopped to save clutch wear

The sensation of driving it, the car pulls hard and solid to redline without a stumble. If my car didn't pull hard to redline, I'd share that because ...um...why not? lol.
Just thought the dyno was helpful, if not no worries.
