2015 Evo X vs two deer
What's up guys,
Over the weekend I guess two deer decided they wanted to take their chances playing frogger and I was their unlucky test subject. I hit them both, on each side, going about 30 mph. I gotta say the Evo was a champ for how hard the driver's side got hit.
Wednesday, I had a PDR guy look at it and he swore he couldn't see a dent on the driver's but finally he caught it and tried to push it out but claimed it was too hard to see and was close to the support in the door. The passenger side had a standard looking dent that he was able to work some out but said the same thing, that it was too close to the support.
No pics of the passenger side but it has similar waves that are hard to see. Now here is my dilemma...I'm not 100% I want to file a claim and take it to a body shop, have someone else look at it, or just live with it. It is a DD and obviously not a show car lol

my suggestion is not to file a claim, for a few reasons. 1. it will show up on carfax as an "accident" and will hurt the cars resale value down the road, when we both know the car hasn't actually been involved in one. 2. I don't like body shops because I'm ****, and they never do the work 100%. Regardless of how expensive the shop is. Obviously if it was a real accident, you have no choice, but based on your pics, I'd stick with the PDR guy

So, shoot for another PDR guy and see what they say? Guess I'll give Dent Wizard a try. I used one of the reputable dealership PDR guys in the above scenario.
