AMS Intake Tune
Might be a stupid question, but here it is.
I Bought a AMS intake, and I am getting tuned soon. Now I know this intake needs a tune because of the maf housing and whatnot, but it it ok to drive it about 20 miles to my tuner with the intake on? (of course driving like a grandma)
I don't feel like installing it in a parking lot...
car is 2010 if it makes any difference.

You'll likely be fine. Just keep your foot out of the pedal. The intake/tune risks are more related to high boost, high load situations where the car is in open loop and running lean. You would run into the potentially dangerous levels of knock or detonation. I would be shocked if this occurred during normal driving however.
