Decided to get a DD
Hey guys, I haven't been on the forums much lately just because my evo's been in the paint shop for the past 6 months, getting a fq400 kit (bad paint shop). Anyways in the meantime I've been looking around for daily drivers and finally got one, an Infiniti FX45. Check it out, I actually have really grown to like it, and I needed something to tow some other toys around (jetski's, atv, dirt bike).
Got it for a only 4200 bucks.
-Already came with exhaust, headers, intake, 22" tires/rims, drilled/slotted rotors
-225k on the engine, no oil consumption, no ticking
-Looks like the guy just stopped taking care of it
-fixed a seized rear brake caliper
-Installed four aftermarket door actuators (works great now!)
-Found a draw coming off of battery (aftermarket iphone charger) that was draining battery. Starts up no problem after weeks of sitting.
-two new rear tires and rear shocks
Now running like a champ! And it's actually pretty fast haha.

People that put those wheels on cars usually don't take care of anything but tint, speakers, wheels and gas. A guy I know is like that and won't even get an oil change every year...
One lady bought a new Camry and let it go 30k on factory oil. I can't believe it lasted that long. Beware of used cars, Grats on the daily!

Yah I agree, it definetly just needed some tender care ha. The rims actually seem really ghetto but suprisingly they've grown on me and they look way better in person. I've actually gotten several compliments even from older people on them. Anyways I'm pretty happy and don't drive much a year (~6000 miles/yr) so I figure this was a good pickup. Just figured I'd share it, cause I spent some time on it.
-Definetly high mileage but I figured I'd ride it till it's death bed...Thanks guys.
