I need advice & questions answered on the ETS catted test pipe

Hey guys I'm new to the exhaust setup. I did research and found out a test pipe is the way to go on the Evo because of the restricted catalytic. I was torn between the test pipe and catted pipe. After doing more research on the forums I came to the conclusion people's wives & girlfriends & kids complain about the test pipe because of the loudness and smell.. so I've decided to go with a ETS catted test pipe with a wideband bung. So I have some questions.. I currently JUST HAVE a ETS V2 exhaust system.

A catted test pipe is also known as a high flow cat?

Is power level wise significantly different from a test pipe and catted?

from a scale to 1 -10 how louder will be my car with a catted test pipe bolted onto the ETS V2 system?

Will this cause significant cabin/inside car rattling?

Will the catted test pipe bolt right up to the stock down pipe?

Thank you all in advance!

Yes, high flow cat is usually what it's called.

There would be a slight loss in power between the two, though nothing all that significant.

I've got the ETS resonated test pipe (non-catted), and it brought the noise level up on the Invidia Q300 system I put it on quite a bit (maybe 30-40% louder than just the CBE?), though a HFC shouldn't bring the noise up as much as a resonated test pipe.

Shouldn't cause much more rattling than you already have with the ETS V2 CBE.

It will bolt right up. I ran my ETS test pipe on the stock downpipe for 10k miles with no issues. The flanges on the DP is slightly smaller, just get a good gasket and you'll be good to go.

The HFC will bolt up to the stock downpipe but we do recommend the adapter to increase the sealing surface to ensure a leak free seal.
