Car sputtering after fuel pump install

Long story short, the car has trouble starting up and when you try to accelerate, the car bogs. This was after install the fuel pump. Checked it twice and same problem occurs. Anybody have a general idea on what's happening?

What pump and what install kit? Check the fuel line for kinks and tears.

Idk what the set up is in your fuel tank but ive installed fuel pumps like walboro on hondas and one time i lost my *** on this one car i did a fuel pump install on. Same symptoms as you to the t. Pulled pump like x10. To make sure everything was legit.

Any how the car had 1/4 tank so i didnt think twice.

long story short the new pump sat higher and wasnt getting enough fuel.

Do you have an AFR gauge or a fuel pressure gauge? Also, when you did the install, did you use standard fuel hose, or the corrugated line?

You probably have a fuel leak between the pump and the fuel pump hanger assembly.
