Finance question?

When you decide what car you really want make sure you are PRE APPROVED with your credit union let's say 2.5% is their rate.. when you go to whatever dealership you don't say a word you negotiate until the end.. once numbers are negotiated you let them know you are PRE approved already... every dealership will try to negotiate and BEAT that number because they Make their $ on the financing.. so they either beat that 2.5% or they won't make ANYTHING, and they will rather give you a 1.8% than get nothing that's just something I've always done to get the lowest interest possible every time I buy a car 👍👍

Sometimes a CU has the financial system that most dealerships use and can see that you're pre-approved for a loan. They won't know the full amount for which you're pre-approved, just that your loan covers the amount of the car. That's how my bank explained it. When I did mine, it was done all electronically. A couple of calls to my bank, but I never physically went to my bank.

I financed at 0% through Ally Financial. If you look on Mitsubishi's website they partner with Ally and offer 0% on new cars. There are still brand new '15 Evo's selling across the country that you can finance for 0%. I shopped around the country, got the best price possible, then financed it at 0%. I had it shipped over with no worries since it was brand new. I wanted the recaro seats, but it wasn't worth buying a used Evo since the finance terms are very different.
