I was ordering some OEM parts yesterday and the lady at the dealership told me for the part number of the "MR" badge, they have only 4 left and they couldn't get more even if I want more.

I thought I should let you guys know. Coming from the Honda world, many badges would only have one production run and when it's over, you can't get the OEM one anymore. Some rare badges like the A-Spec badges become relic after the production of the cars are over.

It is possible that Mitsubishi is discontinuing the "MR" badges, along with or without other Evo x badges. So if you are holding up to get any badges, you should check early. I was intending to get the "MR" bage when I repaint the whole car many years down the road, but as I accidentally discovered this, I have bought one and I'm going to keep it in a safe for the years to come.

Anyone have an idea about the total amount of X's sold in the US?

You can buy those off of Amazon or Ebay no worries. Around 20k sold I think that is MR plus GSR's could be slightly higher.
