Thanks brother! I just recommend being patient and doing it right the first time. So many parts I multiple times but different makes and etc. Eeeek makes me sick thinking about it. I changed the mirrors back to the stock after this pic. Those Jun mirrors were horrible to daily with, lol.

Wow dude, you don't google search much I take it. 2019, Mitsu was rated the fastest growing Asian car brand in the US. How that is a cunny-hair from closing shop..no idea.

2007 was Mitsubishis best year in the US, 2019 they almost matched it.

.2019 121.046 0,71%
2018 118.074 0,68%
2017 103.686 0,60%
2016 96.267 0,55%
2007 128.993 0,80%

Here's my educated projection.

There WILL be an Evo 11, it's already in development and they will be returning the WRC. The Megane Trophy beat the CTR on the Ring, it's a great platform to bolt on electic motor driven S-AWC.

I'm basing my opinion on articles I've read in magazines. Let's hope you and Google are right, though.

Kaj in 2007 it was released in Japan I was just referencing the same body style 2007 to 2015.
and yeah Mitsubishi is still doing excellent in places like the Philippines and Malaysia selling cheap junk like hotcakes

Revmaynard the Trophy R is a great car I would love to own and did beat the civic, but its also 70k out of the normal buyers reach.
Although its from a partner company I doubt they will use this platform. The Next Evo would have to be at or below 40k.

Due to the hard times right now, I just listed my Evo for sale.
And even though it hasn't sold and probably won't during this mess everyone is going through... I am already regretting it!

Inflation of 1.6% from 2007-2020 - 40,000 then is 64,000 now. Then add tax.

It would never be below 40k, that ship sailed.

Cheers

Agreed. A fully-loaded Honda Accord is real close to $40k. I don't see an Evo ever being that cheap.

If an "Evo 11" were to be based on the Megane Trophy platform, using S-AWC electric motors on all four corners to handle vectoring and added HP...I'd pay 80k in a heartbeat.

Mitsubishi + Renault, in WRC again as one is a good thought even if it's pure theory or rumour, there's some magic in the recipe that I think old Evo owners would want to come back to.

Cheers!

Old thread but I did the same thing, Had an Silver 09 X, built loved it but didn't drive it much after our first child so sold it, I bought my mates one one which was a black 09, again built it and again had another child and didn't drive it so I sold that too back in 2014 and I've been Evo-less since then and have always hated it so I just picked up a 14 Starlight White X and I'm never selling it! As soon as I started driving all those feelings came back to me and I realised why I loved the car as much as I did. There she is below

Same honestly. I bought a 06 mr back in 2014 dried a 5speed swap and enjoyed it for 1.5yrs I wanted a X so sold the 9 and got one. I drove 12hrs one way to pick it up. Had it for 4 years and wanted to get back into bmws so I sold it for a e90 335i with a stage 2 vvt turbo. Loved the e90 but still had a soft spot for the Evo. Everyone I talked to would alway mention my x to me and how it was their favorite car etc etc which make me miss it even more lol. Went through 3 different bmws and wanted a new M3 when the prices exploded. Found a 2011 X with 51k on it a few weeks ago and pulled the trigger on it. Wife always nagged to me about how she loved the evos over my bmws. She would always say “bmws are everywhere and you rarely see and Evo”… so I’m back and hopefully the car stays with me for a while. It’s not perfect but I got it for a good prices so fixing stuff as I go. The cool thing is the guy I bought my first X from I still talk to every single day lol. But yes regret that I even sold it. Not so much the 9 but definitely the X it was my favorite car and I never had issues no matter how much I pushed that car it would take it.

it’s funny you mention the feelings bc I’m like a kid again and reading up on them etc etc lol watching videos etc lol. Just wish the forums were back to what they used to do as I don’t do Facebook and it seems everything is there now.
