first time poster and maybe first time buyer/owner of my first evo. don’t know enough about them and scared to make the jump. What do you guys think? Stay away or good deal? Heavily modified I’d say, exhaust, headers, intake, BOV, turbo and tuned E85. $23k 52k miles dyno sheet says 540-631.

At such power level, that Evo X is a money pit. Do you have a lot of money saved to keep her on the road?

It really depends if things were done right, especially the tuning and maintenance.

Engine compression check would be a good to see engine health.

there was a recent post on the forums with a nice checklist of things to look for in a used evo.
good luck !
