I dont know what i am gonna do when it comes time to mount the plate
I think I will just run dealer plates on the rear as long as I can....LOL after that and I get a few tickets I will probably just zip tie it to the grill.
Just an FYI for those of you that run them tuck into the front windshield....Its usually not legal anyway and its really not a good idea to keep it there. If you get into an accident and it becomes airborn it can do some major damage to whomever it hits. Be careful

Skene Design (http://www.skenedesign.com/FPBracket/index.shtml) makes a license plate bracket that doesn't require you to drill holes in the front of your bumper. Instead the holes are drilled under the bumper, generally out of sight. That way, when it is removed, there are no holes visible in the front of the bumper. I have seen a couple M3s that use this product and it looks great. I purchased one for my old E46 M3 just in case I ever got a ticket for no front plate. Never used it as I never got a ticket, but gave it to the new owner when I sold the car in case he wanted a front plate. The quality of the product is top notch and it prevents you from having to drill into the front of the bumper.
The Evo X takes the "Short" bracket size.
Cost is $50 plus $6 shipping.
Note - I am in no way affiliated with this product.
Here is the write up on it from their website:
No Holes Front License Plate Mount
Two small, 7/64" holes are required on the lower surface of the bumper. These holes are virtually invisible should you remove the bracket in the future.
Fabricated from aluminum alloy, the license plate bracket is shipped complete with left and right brackets and all necessary stainless steel mounting hardware, and 4 stylish, stainless button-head socket screws to mount your license plate with. It even includes the 7/64" drill bit and an Allen key for ease of assembly.

even though this thread was brought back from the dead circa 2009, i must admit the skene design bracket is great, i've had it on the car for about 3 months now and would definitely recommend it. I'm at work now so i can post pics later on today, if you all want to see an example on a X
