Not sure how relevant this is but I'm an Aussie with a white Evo X.

Wish I would've thought of putting down a towel or blanket. Because one of those black clips are lost in the jungle of an engine bay. I found getting a long screwdriver behind the heat shield to help pry out the black clips, keep the heat shield from bending.

Nice write up. Looks great, especially with the cf bumper lip. Very interested in doing the same, what was the price for that scoop. I have found some others from different manufacturers, but this one looks great!

^^Not really when considering your paying for quality of workmanship. Sure he could go buy an Ebay knock off for 50 bucks, but then it will look like he paid 50 bucks for it. Poor fitment, uneven weave, etc.

Has anyone come across an after market paint grade scoop with the higher lip?
I have the capabilities of painting parts myself, and don't want to pay over 3 hundo, for such a tiny carbon fiber piece.
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

looks sweet, I ordered mine yesterday. I paid 299.00 shipped. RR evo ftmfw. What kind of lip is that, I want it. My cars gonna look similar. Smoke out those headlights and it will look even sicker imo.
