Anyone have problems with the hotter Nokya yellows melting the housings holding the bulb in place? My mechanic friend had a helluva time trying to get a new bulb in to replace a burnt out one, and gave up after 20 minutes of trying. Ideas/ suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

 

Unfortunately higher wattage halogen bulbs will melt the foglight housing. You can try using a heat gun to warm up the plastic and try again, but there's a high chance the plastic has already melted and fused since your mechanic friend has already given up.

I'm out of ideas other than using extreme force (will damage the seals) or replacing / foglight delete options.
