thanks for all the hint/tips. I can't wait till I see the finished "How To".

On a side note. How much more HP is noticed on the butt dyno? and what about the sound?

My butt dyno says there is a change, it feels stronger in the midrange. Sound is unchanged, if anything softer.

The biggest pain in this install is the location of some of the bolts. And the fear of breaking off a bolt in the exhaust manifold. It would suck ***** if my car were out of comission because of that. It would definitely help if you had a friend help you out. A good friend though who's willing to spend many hours lending a hand.

Sorry for the delay everyone! I have updated the original post of this thread with detailed pictures of the whole setup. It should give you a pretty good idea where everything is located.

I see absolutely no issue with re-using the metal O2 gasket, nor do I see an issue with re-using the gasket between the turbo and manifold (if you pull the turbo off for anything).

Youuuu cannnn doooo itttt!

Anyone on the board is welcome to call me at (203) 520-7162 if you ever have any questions during an install. I've been in the import racing scene since '96 so I have a bit of experience under my belt.

OH man, I just noticed that inverted stud on the AMS housing. From what I remember, that was the hardest nut to remove due to the clearance issues....

I wonder how hard that would be to re-torque with the lack of clearance already....

Its not too bad at all. With the heat shields out of the way you can get to it pretty easily.
