Question How to change miles in km on ODO and trip

Hello guys,
do you know if it is possible to change odometer and trip from miles to km?

In the board computer settings menu there's only the possibility to change the unit of fuel consumption, range and temperature; but not of odometer and trip.
I know that many cars have particular procedures to follow in order to switch odometer between miles and km (i.e. pushing clock buttons and other buttons together for some time, etc); do you know if there's something like this on Evo X?

Thank you!!
Stefano

You might have to order a EU gauge set for that...

Thanks for your reply, but what I want to do is not to change the tachometer background, but simply the odometer and trip in the LCD screen. Now it's in miles but I think there's a way to make it show km, because for example from the setting menu you can change the fuel consumtpion from mpg to km per liter.

So I think there's some way (not in the menu) to make the board computer show mileage in km instead of miles

The dealer might be able to change the coding data. I know on bmws we can change whats called the car key memory and it includes things like miles or kilometers, *C or *F, drl's and so on. Try giving them a call.

Check your owner's manual?

In park, press and hold the multi-information meter switch for about 2 seconds or more to change from the setting mode screen to the menu screen. Lightly press the multi-information meter switch to select AVG UNIT. Press and hold the multi-information meter switch for about 2 seconds or more. You can change it here.

As in my first post, in owner's manual it's described only the possibility to change the units of temperature, fuel consumption and range. It's also explained that even if you change those units, instead odometer and trip will remain still in miles.

Yes, as I was telling from there I can change only AVG units but not odo and trip.

But I think there's a way to change also odo and trip like on many other cars where there's some "hidden procedure", or for example using MUT-III (tomorrow I'll check with MUT, I have one in the company where I work).

In any case thanks for your replies!
