TurboXS Knock Light

To which ECU pin knock wire it should be connected? Knock sensor not grounded in Evo X, so which pin I should use?

Lightbulb Turbo XS Knocklite

Knock Sensor Signal: ECU Pin 25 = Knock sensor (+)

RPM Signal: ECU Pin 4 = No.1 ignition coil (ignition power transistor)

I posted something about it last year for my install but now it doesn't come up. That should get it working for you.

I connected it using this wiring manual, but Knocklite don't detect light knocking, even with max sensitivity. Is it ok?

Could someone confirm that Knocklite work perfect on pin 25?

Well hopefully you get zero knock and never trigger it!

When calibrating the sensitivity, if you do it when the car is a bit colder and not fully warmed up it will be noisier during calibration and therefore less sensitive. Make sure you do it on a fully warmed up engine for it to be accurate. You could try calibrating it at lower RPM's so that it is expecting less noise which should trigger knock warning earlier and be more sensitive.

On mine it won't flicker unless there are about 7+ counts of knock. The only time I ever saw knock was on an off camber left turn at Watkins Glen when the gas tank was under a 1/4 tank. The fuel pressure was falling off due to starvation triggering knock, now I avoid that combination and haven't seen a flicker since.

I guess you could put some 89 octane in and use a logger to confirm some knock counts and the light going off but the "Knock +" worked fine for my setup.
