Is the one you bought made for the car? I checked out the link on the picture and they do make one for CZ4A. If that is the case, you don't need to remove the metal tab that's attached to the glass. You can remove the mirror by using a small flat head and pressing the spring loaded tab as many people here suggested.

If you do need to remove the metal tab and install a new one, I recommend that you take it to a glass shop and have them do it, since they have the right adhesive and the know-how to do it without damaging your windshield.

Not to dig up old wounds (as I just did this to change mine out and took a chunk of skin out of my finger when it gave) but to contribute to the thread for others. I pushed in a little and up and this came off, with a little bit 'o finger.

I am replacing it with a auto-dim and homelink V mirror from
gentex series 8 flameless (50-genk80a) gentex series 8 flameless (50-genk80a)
and can confirm its a perfect fit.

Anyone wants the original let me know. Looks like I will also need to get a new Blendmount radar holder as the mirror stems are too different...so that would also be available as it will only fit the original mirror stem.
