Just Great!
Now that I have my dream steering wheel, hub, and quick release, looks like our OEM steering wheel has an position sensor on it.
yes you can unplug it as your air bags and horn plugs, no big deal, but if I replace the steering wheel for an aftermarket one I’m going to loose the sensor.
Any of the fellows here know how if it's possible to install the sensor in the new wheel? Any experience about it.
I saw a lot of guys replacing the steering wheel, are you just forgetting about the sensor?
I will appreciate any sort of direction, I’m thinking to install it this weekend, but now I’m stock.

Well, after a deeper look to the photos, looks like the steering sensor keep in place after remove the stock steering wheel.
I freaked out when I saw the harness plug, but looks like that harness came from the cruise control and connect to the sensor.
I knew I will loose the cruise control which I never use it.
Now, what is possible is that besides the cruise control, thru that harness, could be another sensor sending steering related data to the black box in the base of the steering wheel, from the cruise control switch.
Anybody?

its the airbag clock spring. its fine, you can remove it but you will have the air bag sensor light .
