buschur intake problems

buschur intake problems

i installed the buschur intake and now have a cel for the the boost soleniod not being plugged into the intake aslo i have the hose from the valve cover just there i need a breather or catch can but why am i getting the cel everyone says to just plug the hose for the boost and i did and still coming on and im only boost 15lbs when i normally boost around 20 anybody could help thanks

Don't plug the line - you are preventing the boost bleeding from the system, hence running on wastegate pressure.
have the return line VTA and you'll be fine hopefully!!

by doing it the way you have, you may as well just have a line running direct from boost source to wastegate with no solenoid at all in the circuit.

Are you driving an Evo X, or an 8/9? Your signature says 06 Evo MR.

It's been too long since I've installed my BR intake, but I honestly don't remember ****ing with the solenoid at all.
