It would be more involved than simply blasting them with a spray bottle or your garden hose.

I didn't use any silicone sealer, just reused the factory sealant. I did wash the car right after and there's no sign of moisture or water inside after drying.

I would totally use silicone sealant for doing this.
Did you have the oven turned ON while you had them in there? I have heard you are supposed to turn the oven on, heat it up and then once it is up to temperature turn it OFF and then place the light inside.
Feedback please.

Once you've done all your painting and you've got the clear plastic screwed back on the front, place them back in your preheated oven at 200 degrees. Take them out 10 minutes later, tighten the screws a bit, put them back in for 10, tighten the screws yet again but don't break the plastic they go into. Throw them in for a final 10 minutes and once that is up take them out and fold the black tabs over and if necessary use your clamps to pull the seams together, OR just use your own elbow grease. I would wait maybe an hour or until the lights are cold to the touch before you install them on your vehicle.

I don't care what BS you call. I had to wipe out the virus and do a system restore. I still want the file tho. OP, can you e-mail it to me? kirkd127@gmail.com

This write up is nothing special, not like the holy grail or anything, just figured I'd help out the community a lil.

Dude i just finished this yesterday and they look amazing, thanks for the great write up. I used rustoleum all purpose flatblack paint instead of what you listed and it worked good for others out there beware about your oven temps one of i lights was partially melted because my stupid oven resets at 350 when i did the 10 min time for the seal at the end.
