Seibon Wing Swap

I've been searching the forum and people have asked before but I haven't seen a response. Do the bolts for the Seibon SSS wing line up with the existing holes from a GSR with the SSS wing?

Good to know. BTW, what is the 4th hole on each side for? There was a black clip/gasket in there that I pulled out, is that hole needed for the Seibon too?

there's a forth hole on your factory wing? the seibon wing only has 3 holes. two along the side of the trunk and one in the middle

My wing had one bolt that stuck down through the trunk, one bolt that went up through the trunk to the wing, one bolt that went from the wing down on the inner bulge area (where you had to remove the plastic cover to get to it) and then there was an extra hole on each side that had some plastic grommet in there. I pulled them out, put some vinyl over them for right now. I think there was just a plastic tab that stuck down from the wing? (I sold/shipped it already, looking for a CF OEM-style replacement)

I'll try to snap some pics later of mine.

The seibon one doesn't have the forth one that doesn't look like it would form a triangle (second from the right in your pic). Did you previously have a GSR w/o SSS b/c that hole could be from the non-SSS spoiler, but that's just my guess.

Nope, mine was SSS. I've looked around some more and there seems to be some inconsistency with the holes in the GSR trunks. If that fourth hole with the clip/grommet isn't needed, I'll just leave it covered when I put the wing on. Not visible, no harm no foul. I'll use the 3M tape too, as you can see I still have some residue left from the OEM wing. It's just been too cold out here, Goo Gone wasn't doing it's job...

try using WD40. it's great at getting adhesive materials off of objects even though it's not labelled to do so. I used WD40 to remove the residue left on my strut bars and it came off like cake.

Plug the 4th hole if you dont have a bolt for it.

Learned that the hard way after finding like 2 gallons of water in my trunk of my honda.

Check this out before buying it. The trunk fitment was terrible on this one.
