Evo X OEM Amplifier Removal
I thought I would do a write up on this. It's not to difficult, just thought it might help those that want to do this save some time.
Tools needed:
- Phillips Screw Driver
- Flathead Screw Driver
- 10mm Socket
First I removed three screws that hold the cover on. This step might not be needed, but I thought it would help later when trying to remove it.
Next I used the flathead screw driver and unclipped the wire harnesses. You just need to push the blue tab away from you and pull the connectors out.
Then I took my 10mm socket and unscrewed the two nuts that hold the amp to the chassis.
Last step is to pull the amp up and away from you, then it's out!
